The Standards and Technical guidelines for waste management activities are considered one of the most important regulatory/technical enablers for the sector, as these guidelines provide the minimum requirements for a wide range of activities according to the waste management law and its implementing regulations. In this context, these guidelines are considered a key tool for providing support and technical guidance to many stakeholders, including waste producers, service providers, and investors in the waste management sector, in addition to various agencies and ministries as well as other public and private stakeholders.
